Hair loss and wisdom tooth removal?

i would like to know i had good hair im only 18 recently like last month or about a month and a half ago i had my wisdom tooth removed my hair was fine before the surgery... i didnt eat for 4 days hoping it wouldn't get infected and since i worked always all day after everything was healed i only had 1 to no meals a day
my hair is starting to fall off and got thinner from what it used to be i see lines from the side of my frontal area going across the side of my head and the frontal part is thinning and a little hair loss on the crown and a few around the top of my head... any ideas? and how long would it take again for my hair to grow back to what it usta be.

I really do not think that there should be any correlation b/w a tooth extraction and hair loss.

The only thing that I can think of is that your lack of food, caused your body to become malnourished which caused you to start losing hair. Many people with bulemia and anorexia experience this as well.

Also, is hair loss hereditary in your family?
Have you had a medical physical?

There are a lot of things to look at here.

I'm guessing two things; either the gas they used to knock you out caused this or it is because you have been suffering with malnutrition. Buy some long and thick Pantene Pro-V and use it- it works wonders!!!! You shouldn't worry too much- it has only been a month!

A Thyroid condition and many other medical conditions could be the cause of your hair falling out!. Perhaps a good place to start would be your doctor for answers

you need to eat sweetie you are not getting the vitamins you need and your body is useing what it needs to heal where the tooth was taken from ,eat plenty of fruit and veg and you will be back to your normal self in no time bless ya

I'm no doctor but I can't see any reason why your widsom tooth surgery would make your hair fall out.

Start eating good meals again and I bet your problem will be solved. However, if this continues you must see your doctor. This does not sound like normal male pattern baldness. Something else is happening and it has nothing to do with your wisdom teeth.
