Is anybody bald like me? I know my Avatar shows me with hair.. and yes am I a girl... Is anyone ELSE bald????

I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata, a hair loss disease, when I was just in early third grade. It would be great to know someone else who goes through the same things as me. It's hard being bald and going around in school and public.

i dont have that disease .. but i have been bald my hair is just now growing back..i had chemo and brought mine out..its hard being bald and being a girl . i was bald a year...

Wow, that's rough. Do you wear a wig or a hat? They have some funky wigs now, that aren't fake or old-ladyish looking...hope you are doing ok...

well, i'm not bald but i would like to tell you that being bald shouldn't change anything. ur still u and people should accept that. i would be embarrassed too, but if ur asking because it's getting u down then don't worry. u would prob say to me 'how the heck can u not worry" well it'll be really hard to live ur life worrying about it. i can't believe i gave advice about this because if i was bald i prob go crazy for the first few weeks. im sorry. i can tell i'm kinda gonna put u down even more...sry but there's alot of ppl in the world that are bald and they're like still loved and i'm sure u r too.

Honey, I empathize with you and If I were you I would hold my head high and let the world know you do not care what others think or say. Their opinions mean nothing to you. You are a person and are worth being loved and treated with respect just like everyone else. So you do not have hair , they are just jealous because you do not have to worry about styling or nothing else just wash and go. You go girl!

I know how bad it can make you feel, not having hair. Everyone likes to feel like they 'fit in', and having to deal with this, can make you feel isolated from your peers. It's easy to say "Hold your head up, and don't pay attention to what others say", but it isn't very realistic. People should like you for who you are, not how you look. If they don't though, it is truly their loss! Whatever you do though, try hard to keep your self esteem. You are very pretty, even without hair. Don't let anyone/anything convince you otherwise.

there is NOTHING WRONG w/ being bald. every one is special in there own way. dont tell anyone (lol) but i wet the bed untill i was 15. nobody is perfect and nobody is even close to being perfect. my friend has a disease called mono its not that bad but she cant drink certain thing and that sucks. if i were you i would not wair a wig. because you should be proud of who you are. if people dont like you for being bald then too bad fo them
