What disease or illness has the symptom of hair falling out in more than normal amounts?

There is no chemo. She is on meds for liver cyrosis disease and that is all. Young age of 47, completely healthy otherwise. What could be up?

Thyroid or hormone problems. A simple bloodtest can see if this is the reason. Good luck!

Radiation poisoning

Thyroid trouble

Sometimes that just happens around menopause because of hormone changes. Lupus can cause hair loss. I am sure there are many other things too.

Women's pattern baldness.
