Diseases causing phantom pain and swelling?

my mother has been sick for quite some time and has seen numerious doctors. nobody has been able to put their finger on her condition, so she suffers in limbo. she has phantom pain that travels peroidically around her body, swelling where it lands. legs, writs, sholders, neck, arms. her hair follicals look like some one put them in the light socket, yet her hair is not falling out or thinning. she has dizzy spells and will some times feel so very tired. she been tested for lupus, lyme disease and even given paxil to "calm her"....which really just anoid her even more. any ideas? we've done blood tests, ekgs and the works...nothing. what are we not seeing?

I'm wondering if she has a severe load of parasites. They're extremely common, but they can be nearly impossible to diagnose. Standard stool tests often miss them, and if any show up most other kinds are missed. Most of the symptoms sound suspiciously familiar. I know a practitioner in Oregon who may be able to help her. If you need the information, email me. I would try alternative treatment if there is anyone good where you are.
