Scarring from ingrowing hair?

My father has this skin problem, if he cuts himself his skin scars excessively. I've inherited this disease but not that badly. I hope. His main problem was ingrowing hair on his chest then forming scars resulting in his whole chest being basically a scar. I FEAR this. I've got a few ingrowing hair on my chest and it takes very long to heal even after I pulled out the hair. Please help me prevent this....:-(

Go to a skin specialist, don't start pulling out your own hairs, there may be something they can give you, to stop the in growing of your hair, cheers.
