HRT for menopause? Not unless you want TROUBLE!?

Please read: Do not use HRT if you expect to live without suffering. There are MANY MORE RISKS than the few they speak of. Try a list of more than 20+ side effects which can bring you down to the level of being DISABLED BY THEM.
Case in point: Do you know what I'm sitting here doing right now? I just got done crying horribly after 1 of their "precious" side effects has hit me ONCE AGAIN (1 of several I have). I saw my cat puke & the side-effect of wanting 2 puke hit me STRONG-I don't know if I'll be able to stay in MY OWN HOME till my sister gets home & cleans the cats puke. I cried cause I can't handle a simple cat function & cause I was given HRT without being told what it can do-I feel victimized by money-grubbing doctors. To think I've puked over getting my hair in my mouth! Puking is only 1 side-effect I have that's disabling, add severe daily joint pain.
I wished someone had warned me but no one was a humanitarian-they wanted $$.

No, I didn't cry due to a hormonal imbalance. Believe it or not my crying resulted from being sick of being a victim of HRT side-effetcs and uncaring doctors.
I didn't have enough space to explain WHY puking would result in my tears in the 1st post, so I'll say it here. It's because it won't stop, and has been bad enough that I've puked 8 times a week & would "pay the price" for leaving my home because whenever I'd even hear someone clear their throat I'd puke on the spot from it being "too gross to handle". Everywhere I went I was puking and over every little thing-tons of things have become repulsive to me since I've been on HRT.
I QUIT HRT on 4-29, but now my body is taking time to "repair itself" after being essentially damaged, which many others have reported as well. The body takes "time to repair itself" is a fact-my sister once had a side-effect from pain killers for an impacted tooth & it took her over 2 months of recovery time to rid the side-effect.

It will explain the different HRT and why we need them or don't need them. Crying and hysteria are side effects of having your hormones out of whack. They have natural ones on the market that don't have bad side effects. If you have just had a hysterectomy them I'd advise you to take some kind of hormone replacement. However if you are going through natural menopause then by all means don't take anything.

I'm sorry to hear you feel so awful but the vast majority of people who take HRT do not suffer these side effects so clearly you have been very unlucky. I'm not particularly a protagonist of HRT (female GP in the menopause and I don't take it) but for many patients it does offer relief from many of the symptoms of the menopause. I don't know about the states but in the UK there is no pecuniary advantage to prescribing this or any other medication. In fact our primary care trusts would prefer us to prescribe less medication rather than more. I really hope you feel well again soon.
