HRT for menopause? Not unless you want TROUBLE!? |
Please read: Do not use HRT if you expect to live without suffering. There are MANY MORE RISKS than the few they speak of. Try a list of more than 20+ side effects which can bring you down to the level of being DISABLED BY THEM. No, I didn't cry due to a hormonal imbalance. Believe it or not my crying resulted from being sick of being a victim of HRT side-effetcs and uncaring doctors. Read this website http://surmeno.blogspot.com/2006/03/what... I'm sorry to hear you feel so awful but the vast majority of people who take HRT do not suffer these side effects so clearly you have been very unlucky. I'm not particularly a protagonist of HRT (female GP in the menopause and I don't take it) but for many patients it does offer relief from many of the symptoms of the menopause. I don't know about the states but in the UK there is no pecuniary advantage to prescribing this or any other medication. In fact our primary care trusts would prefer us to prescribe less medication rather than more. I really hope you feel well again soon. |
