HPV and rough sex??? |
Another user posted: i think in the other person's mind (the one who posted that question) he/she was thinking that maybe rough sex will cause a greater chance of abrasions or tears that can facilitate the virus getting in and with abortions there is blood and other tissue it can get into contact with...of course these are probably just misconceptions cuz like everyone else said, any kind of sexual contact will do You get HPV from an infected partner, it doesn't matter what kind of sex you have or if you are on your period. I've had a lot of rough sex, and I've had HPV for years. I've stopped having sex but I'm sure rough sex does irritate the infection, whether doctors have determined it in studies somehow or not. It's just common sense, if you have an STD or a sexually transmitted infection and you irritate the affected area, it's not going to get any better. HPV is simply contracted from comming in contact with an infected person you wont get it from being "unclean" or from a toilet seat, or from an abortion unless its a back alley thing. Its simple if you have contact wtih a person that is carrying HPv you will probably contract it. You get HPV from someone who has it, rough sex or not. |
