Hpv....when do test come back? |
I went back to my doc for results of my papsmear and lab work..she said my lab work is all good and my papsmear came out good too....and she also tested me for other stds..negative on that...goodness...anyway..the first time i was there she said i might have HPV...well i asked her yesterday what type of hpv i have...she said that she really didnt know and the test isnt back yet to determine that i for sure have hpv..but she said i had some signs of it...well the genital warts..so shes assuming i have hpv the warts...i have had 2 sessions of freezing and burning and she said they are coming off...i go next week for the rest....my question is when exactly will i know that i have hpv and the type i have...on my paper it shows...cardylomata.....which i need to look up.. didnt even request for maybe a preg. test...i dont know if i am or not..i get cramps like couple days before my period but never like this everyday and going on this long......i will prob go buy a test later today if i get any money... Should take about two weeks to get the results back (or that's what my doctor said for my test to see if I have hpv). There are a lot of strains, some are high-risk, some are not, but the strains of hpv are named by #, so I don't know about that word you mentioned... Good luck. Condyoyloma or condoyloma acuminatum is the medical name for genital warts. Genital warts are due to HPV. You have HPV of the vulva your visible genital warts. Visible genital warts are most often due to low risk HPV types 6 or 11. |
