HPV and Pregnant?

After having my daughter in October of 2006, I was told I had Hpv, I had numerous pap smears and exams before and never had anything. But the next pap smear I had after having her said I had Hpv (with genital warts). Well I recieved the depo shot, 2 months after I had my daughter, and now I am pregnant again, due in December... Well now I am worried about the Hpv, (warts) and what it could do to the un born child. Abortion is absolutely out of the question. No way no how! What happens to Babies born to mothers with Hpv, (type 1 genital warts)? Please don't judge me, and please no one rude... Thank you

C-section that away the baby want be exposed to the infected area

They may decide to do a C-section to prevent transmission to the baby that could happen during a vaginal birth. Otherwise your pretty safe. Just be sure and talk to your docs about it.

see your doctor about it.....

I think you should talk to your doctor, but from what I understand..the best thing to do is have a c-section.

I would suggest a C section because the warts are contagious by touch and you could spread them to your child. Of course asked your doctor to be sure. Good luck and congrats!

i know some one with the same problem and her doctor told her that if she di not have an outbreak during delivery she could have her baby vaginaly. how ever wheen i asked my doctor about this he said that it would be highly recommened to have a c- section due to the virus attaking the babys eye sight and other health problems durring natural birth

good luck

What have your doctors said to you about it?
If they haven't expressed any concern, then I'm sure you'll be fine.

You can get healed ! Just call 9182581588. With God all things are possible.

I think u should see ur doctor. I dont know what happens to babies born to mothers with Hpv but I would like to say GOOD LUCK!

HPV won't hurt your child. Most likely, you won't even spread it to the baby. If you're really worried about it, you can talk to your doctor about scheduling a c-section.
