Does HMO Blue Massachusetts cover the Gardasil vaccine?

I'm looking into getting the injections because it could pay off in the long run; I could be one less statistic. Does anyone know if HMO Blue in Massachusetts cover it? It's a $300.00 shot, but I'm hoping that it's at least mostly covered.

Check in your Subscriber Handbook/Drug Formulary or call Customer Service...they are usually very helpful

The best way is to actually call the insurance information and talk to a representative (usually there's an 800 number on the back of the card). They will provide you with all the necessary information as well as information that you might not see covered.

I know when I was getting my IUD inserted I reviewed the brochures and website; however, it stated that it only covered basic bith contorl perscriptions (pills, patch, ring). I was not satsified with the answer and called the 800 number, and come to find out my insurance did cover it.

I do not know if you are talking about Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA or not. However here is some contact information: 800-262-BLUE | TDD# 800-522-1254
