Which one is better, United Healthcare HMO or Cigna HMO if you have a chronic health condition?

Hi,
I just got a job that offers Cigna or United Healthcare HMO. My hubby has a chronic condition, but I have heard mixed reviews on how they treat people and their coverage. Any suggestions is the best for someone with a chronic condition?

Cigna has been the best for my husband with his ongoing chronic condition. Their mail order pharmacy is THE best for maintaince medications.

But definately find out who has the better coverage for his condition and who will let you see specialist if his condition changes, i.e. out of network/in network, and how much you have to pay out of pocket for those visits. Also is there a cap on specialist vists. And is there are lifetime treatment cap, i.e. $2M. If he has somthing ongoing, expensive, and not likely to be 'cured' (i.e emphysema, diabetes, etc) he may run out of benefits long before he dies.

see what your doctor and hospital take and see what it cost you out of pocket
