Has anyone ever used HMO dental Insurance of any kind, where the dentist has not tried to sell you the farm? |
Has anyone ever used HMO dental Insurance of any kind, where the dentist has not tried to sell you the farm? Nope, they ALWAYS try and get you to do this and buy this. It's ridiculous. the price of let's say, a crown, in an HMO dental facility is usually 20% of what a private dental office charges......yes, an HMO office (DMO, to be exact, does usually have products to sell, they have to make up the loss of revenue somewhere. Report It No, get a PPO. It may cost more but it's worth it. I just saw a treatment plan for a patient yesterday where this HMO dental office charges for "desensitizing"!!!! That's charging you for numbing you up for a procedure. I wondered if they also charged their patients for looking at the magazines while waiting in the waiting room. |
