What is ppo, hmo, and cdh plans?

What is ppo, hmo, and cdh plans?

PPO (providers that are also out of network from the Insurance)
HMO(only accepts in network from the Insurance Company)
you lost me on last one

they are different health plans

1. ppo- participating provider option
2. hmo-health maintenance orginization
3.cdh-consumer directed health

No clue on the last one. Stay away from HMO. You will HAVE to go to the primary care physician for everything. They can then recommend you to go to a specialist.

PPO cost's only a little more but you can visit any doctor you want. They will have preferred providers where your copay will be less.
