Hiv . . . ?

What is the difference between HIV1 and HIV2? What if you have both?

They are different serotypes of HIV.
They also have worldwide diferent distribution.
The clinical course is also different since HIV-2 gives you a milder disease, more indolent. It mostly affects heterosexuals, the incubation period is longer, but at the end both diseases could be identical.
Genetically and immunologically both are different. The nucleotide sequence homology is 40%.
About dual infection it could theoretically happen. people who were thought to have both had only hiv-1 in the end, and some data shows HIV-2 may protect from HIV-1.

Come here.http://www.herpesfinder...com Report It

It is just different strains of the virus. Yes, you could technically aquire more than one strain; that it why you need to always use protection.

Hope this answers your question.
