HIV/ AIDS, Am I right that this method can be the best done to reduce HIV by70% and with condom addition 99% ?

I went to a HIV test and then they did not take any blood, but used an oral stick, which was to be put inside the mouth and the test will be sent to the lab, which took days to get a result.
If HIV cannot be cured at the moment would it be the best way
to invent an oral stick that detects HIV for personal use with fast result. Meaning that before sexual intercouse, the test can be done, then when have sex to use in conjucntion with condoms. That should bring the rate close to 0. People do have sex no matter what.
I think that invention ( immeduate usage)
can be done with no problems with more fundings.

the detactable level is6 month, but if a person shows negative, then it means his whole life he/ she did not engage much in risky behavior. Of course it cannot be certain, but this fast result stick could combat the spread of HIV by 70% I believe and even more if negative and still using condoms. ( consider also that even condom use, the oral intercourse does not use condom

Drunk gay men that are high on meth and excstacy are unlikely to stop to do an oral test. Also, the bums that spread it with dirty needles don't really care as long as they get their fix.

I agree that that would be great, if we had std checks that were just as qucik, easy and accurate as pregnancy tests, reducing the amount of HIV, and any std, beign spread. However, this idea won't get you much praise, if you, or anyone, could find a way to do it, it would be amazing, but for now, it's just a dream, but again, all inventions start out that way....

agreed. but most of the people who get the disease are too irresponsible to use the test on their own accord. and it kinda ruins the romance to say, "hey let me swab your cheek, then we;ll wait 15 mins"

responsible people dont have 10 different partners at any given time and get tested by traditional methods, so they rarely get it anyway
