Could HIV transmit this way ?in the barber-shop? |
Hello, Hello!! :o) I understand why you're all worked up over this. We all do the same thing - every now and then. We get an idea in our heads and RUN with it. But you're fine. I promise. There are just far too many variables in the way of you becoming infected. The very first variable is - of course - the 'man'. [The guy who had his hair washed before you] To make any of what you have been worrying yourself sick over - TRUE - the 'man' would have to BE HIV positive. And THEN the hair washer would have to [somehow] get the 'mans' infected blood on his hands. And THEN - the hair washer's hands [or fingernails] would have to pierce through YOUR skin and come in contact with YOUR blood. But even if all of that did happen - it would have to happen SO FAST in order to make sure the HIV virus was still ALIVE. HIV can be transmitted through blood, semen, vaginal fluid. You will not be infected in barber-shop. Read more at the HIV community http://www.positivesingles.com... Report It I almost became terrified just reading that question, No, HIV is dead in less than a second after contact with air. Ya, your not considering all of other factors that are needed for the virus to be transmitted. First off, if you did not have an open wound for direct blood to blood contact then your most likely not going to get the virus. Second, you have to consider the fact that the hair dresser was using hair cleaning products that most likely killed off the virus. Sorry no |
