WILL AN HIV TEST TELL ME IF I HAVE AIDS NOT HIV?? 10 points?

say for ex. if i take an hiv test and the result is negative for hiv, i could still have aids right? because hiv and aids are different, not sure if an hiv test detects aids or only hiv, state your knowledge, 10 points!!

An HIV test will tell you if you have the virus that causes AIDS. It will only tell you if you are HIV positive. You can not have AIDS if you are not HIV positive. AIDS diagnosis comes from being HIV positive and having an AIDS related disease, such as Pnumocystic Pneumonia. You can not have AIDS without being HIV +.

HIV is the virus that humans get and it developed into AIDS. You can not have AIDS without being HIV positive first.

If you get a negative HIV test , you need to be retested again in 3 months before you can be sure that you are not HIV positive as HIV can lay dormant in your system for up to 3 months without showing up on bloods.
Once you are cleared and are pronounced HIV neg then No you will not develope AIDS unless you are infected by a HIV positive person or person with AIDS.
If you rescieve a postivie result then you have HIV and most likely will develop AIDS.

Even if you get a negative test back it doesn't mean you don't have it just means its not showing up yet. It could take from months to years for HIV to show in a test you should keep getting tested for HIV thought out your life.
