Can you get hiv from diluted blood?

Can you get hiv if some liquid from a washing bowl splashed into your eyes. Lets just say that someone's cuttery inside the bowl had some hiv blood (one or two drops). But the bowl is holding a about a few cups of water. Therefore the blood would be diluted in it. If a few drops of the liquid inside the washing bowl splashed into my eyes does that mean the hiv will be transmitted into my body? Also on the same day I had a nose bleed and got some blood into my eyes. Even if the hiv is not enough to transmitt, once it mixes with my blood, on the surface of my eye, can it reproduce enough to transmitt hiv? or at least can it even actually reproduce in my eyes with the blood? (hiv can live for a few days in room temperature)

I guess its possible but the odds that you contracted HIV as described are miniscule. Probably worse odds than the lottery. I wouldn't worry about it.

Boy do you need to do some reading. Why don't you type in HIV transmission and do some research. This whole scenario is a little far fetched I think and I'm guessing you are for some reason paranoid about AIDS. Relax for crying out loud.

Instead of obsessing like this, just go get tested. I also saw your question about the ice skates. HIV is transmitted by blood to blood contact. Not blood in your eyes. There is no blood on the surface of your eye.

I thought in school i read something about it dieing with exposure to oxygen after a few seconds too.
