HIV will be SPEARED by during shaking hands?

one month back i have met my friend during that time i was shaking my hands with him and my palm is havings wounds because of i worked in stone field.I heard now he is having HIV positive then i took my HIV test(ELISA),the result is negative eventhough i am afraiding ,window period is minimum three munths that i read in via internet. Please give me details about in hiv and i have to take any hiv test further more.

When you have wounds - whether in your mouth or hands or private parts or anywhere else on your body - you DO NOT touch an HIV person with the open skin exposure!!! Or else you have to get tested and as you say if the first one is negative, wait 3 more months to take another test because it takes that long ot show positive. Good luck and try to think smart.

Well unless your friends had was dripping with bodily fluids then you should be okay.

u get hiv when his wound and ur wound is open if he didnt have wound its all good. but its better to be tested again in 3 months good luck

I doubt they could contract the disease from your hand, if you even are a carrier. It must be passed through bodily fluids, like mucus, and I don't even think you can pass through saliva. It has to be major contact.

Blood to blood contact
seamen to blood contact
breastmilk to blood contact

other than that your cool, is it possible to spread it this way? sure if he had a cut in his hand, but most likely your cool

U shud b asking hay doktor

You are retarded. No literally, look at your grammar!!!!

Unless his hands were bleeding, no worry on your part.

if you have open wound in ur hands and ur friend also has open wound u could contact the disease if ur open wounds touched.

BUT, if u are the only one who has open wound there is a 0% chance of u having the disease.

HIV is NOT an air-born disease. It can only be passed by:

mother to child

unprotected sex

blood transfution

needle sharing

if u r really insecure then take an HIV test in 3 months from now.

HIV tests measures the number of ur CP4 cells in ur immune system. If the number of ur CP4 cells drops excessively then u have AIDS.

But no worries. the disease cannot be passed on to u by jst shaking hands.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, but with today's treatments and proper adherence, he will be able to live a full life.

HIV is spread through semen, blood, breast milk, and vaginal fluids. Any of those fluids from your friend may infect, but the fluids require a "doorway" into your body, such as an open wound or bleeding gums. Since you said you only shook his hand, it's doubtful that the virus was passed to you.

For your peace of mind, you can check for rapid oral testing in your area so that you get your results in 20 minutes rather than waiting for nearly 2 weeks for a blood test. The rapid oral test checks for antibodies in your oral fluid (kind of like saliva) and the window period is going to be different for everybody - the soonest that antibodies may appear using the rapid test is 10 days, while it takes some people up to 6 months to develop enough antibodies for the test to detect.

Will you have to take another test? It's going to be up to you - if you feel that you've put yourself at risk and his blood or semen passed into your open wound, wait until 4 to 6 months, retest, then rest easy.

And be good to your friend. It's been proved time and time again that hugging, shaking hands, or touching (with no open wounds making contact) is safe. Folks with HIV need all the support available.
