Hepatitis AND HIV Q help??!!? |
Lil blackguard about me I am 21 and my fiancee is 23. we are getting married six month from now> he told me last week that he had hepatitis C when he was young. I didn't know what was it . until I google it. and its scears me. I was reading in this web site that said HCV is the same as HIV.?!I asked him if he can get tested. he told me he doesn't have anymore. but I insist that he need to get tested. yesterday I Took him to my Doctor to do the tested and I asked her . if the HCV and HIV are the same she said no. and she was asking my BF witch hep he had he didn't know. my doctor said. if he had HCV or Have will maybe still have but she think he had HAV.then she took some blood from him. then hes ganna get tested for hep BCA and HIV. my BF was my only partner and I was hes only partner I was told earlier this year that I had hep. C then when they did more extensive testing they told me that my body had cleared it. ( I dont have it anymore) My partner never had it, so dont worry yourself to death. If the test results come back positve then they wil want to send you to a specialist who will then test you more accuratly, 1 in every 20 clears it according to my doctor. They told me that I would always test positive for it for the basic screening, so chances are he will too. Dont let that worry you though. um..........long Your question is???? By the way, you may want to reconsider marrying this guy. He sounds like a timebomb to me. Stop, it's not the same, they are different viruses. You are going to be okay. Wait for your boyfriends results to come back and if his are clear and you haven't been with anyone else, you don't need to get tested. Good luck. well you gotta wait and see. HIV and hep C are not the same thing.....hence the diffrent names....and you can never get rid of hep c. So if he doesn't have it now he didn't have it then...on the other hand if he had it then he also has it now. What the hell is your question? You shouldn't be getting married when you can't even spell. just don't worry about it. you won't find out before that, so don't let it sweat you. just get over it. and if he does have any of those diseases, are you going to love him any less? if the answer is yes, then he deserves better than you. THING LIKE THAT SHOULD NOT BE AVOIDED.MAKE SURE YOUR BF AND YOUR SELF GETS TESTED. YOU MENTIONED THAT HE WAS YOUR ONLY PARTNER BUT WERE YOU HIS. GOOD LUCK WITH THE RESULTS. Okay first of all Hep C never goes away so if he had it before he has it now. Just because he may not be "sick" from it now does not mean he #1 can't spread it #2 won't get sick in the future. It is not the same as HIV but it is often transmitted the same way sooo just because he has only been with you however he got the Hep C he could have also gotten HIV that way. |
