What is the statute of limitations on your signature? |
In a medical office, when you have a 'signature on file' or sign forms, how long is this valid? I have been trying to find it on the web, but there is ALOT and I am not finding it. I know it has to do with HIPAA but I need help. I have a discrepancy with a HCP about this. Thanks for your help. My understanding is that as long as you continue to seek treatment from them you ongoing consent or contract is continually re-newed. |
