Natural hdl cholesterol different than drug induced? |
here's a technical question for the doctors out there. with all the bad news about drug-raised HDL cholesterol levels, does that cast doubt on whether foods that raise HDL are also bad? The bad news was not about "drug raised HDL" as much as it was about the failure of the drug(s) themselves in trials. Except for Ashley/Razwell/Mike/Michael and their idols, HDL is still thought to be protective against atherosclerosis. HDL is NOT cholesterol. It is cholesterol car. |
