Both HDL and LDL have gone down?

What does it mean when BOTH HDL and LDL have gone down since last cholesterol screening? I had thought with one going up, the other would go down....

Not always, It's better than having your HDL go down and your LDL go up. Continue what your doing, add in omega-3 fatty acids, fish, nuts, etc. Keep up on physical activity. Your HDL's should increase in no time.

HDL is NOT protective.
