Gynecomastia Question (10 points best answer)?

I know that all men have *some* breast tissue but how far along does a man's chest/breast development have to be before it is considered to be gynecomastia? For example, would the man in these links be considered to have it?

(another pic of same guy. I picked him because he is not fat but still has some "puffing" in the breast area. A lot of dudes who seem to have "breasts" are kind of fat).

Have you had surgery for gynecomastia (or know someone who has)? If so, how was the recovery period and did you lose sensation in the nipple or chest area afterwards? What factors led up to you choosing surgery (i.e. pain, embarassment)? Are you satisfied with the surgery? TIA

Thanks.

There are two types of Gynecomastia. There's Gynecomastia (general form) and Pseudogynecomastia.

Pseudogynecomastia is found in most overweight people. Their excess body fat gives them "man boobs"

They guy in the picture may have slightly puffy nipples but It isn't considered full blown Gynecomastia. BTW - Gynecomastia (general) is caused by a fluctuation of estrogen in men. It is hormonally triggered.

Surgery can result in loss of nipple sensation. Recovery time is about 3 weeks but you can be back at work oftentimes the next day.

Give some natural treatments a shot first. There are natural hormonal therapies that can cure this problem.

He could just be built?
I think it has to be a serious case, they grow probly?
I've heard of bigger guys having it to, but i think most of its just because there overweight.
If your concerned about yourself, you should see a doctor, nothing to be embarraced about anyways.

:]

some men develop fats in their chest, its called false gynecomastia..this is due to hormonal changes during puberty but it will go away. but if one is beyond puberty you should consult a doctor coz there are physical examinations to determine gynecomastia..there are no surgery recommended..it could be an effect of the drug you are using- over the counter drugs or illegal drugs; there could be an underlying disease..so you need to rule out these possibilities..if you have treated these underlying problems or able to detect what could have cause it and you stop it then i guess you don't have to worry coz it will go away..
