Can Depakote cause gynecomastia? |
I took Depakote (along with some other anti-depressants) several years back which caused a lot of weight gain. I lost most of the weight but I developed gynecomastia (male breast tissue) that won't go away. I know that Depakote by far caused the worst side effects. Does Depakote cause gynecomastia or was that more likely caused by another medication? I am sorry that I do not have an answer for your particular question, but I used to take Depakote also and I had many problems and side affects from the medication. You should probably go to a doc, or question a pharmasist about your situation. There has got to be some kind of explanation for it. Good Luck! yeah i looked in my drug database (lexi-comp) and it isnt a typical side effect but it's possible depakote is the culprit. talk to your doc about it, there are drugs you can use to reduce it (unfortunately they have many side effects themselves) |

Well, you are certainly not overweight. Don't men aim to get pecs like that when they lift weights? I don't look at you and think, 'that guy has boobs'.
