Gynecomastia! Read more below please.? |
This is kind of a sensitive subject for me......I have recently been diagnosed with gynecomastia, the development of feminine breasts in a male. At the time of diagnosis, I was told that I was a B cup, possibly a C cup. The doctor told me that I should have surgery to correct this, but I cannot afford it. Upon telling him that I could not afford surgery, he then instructed me to wear a bra. Now this is something that a guy just can't go and do naturally. I would like to know, what should I do? Go ahead and get a bra or just go on without one? i have seen a program where some men wear a compression dressing, while others go without anything. it is whatever makes you comfortable. if you have a teaching hospital near you try contacting them to see if they can not help you out. surgeons always need training, and this way you could benefit also. you would want to call either plastic surgery dept. or research dept. |
