Gynecomastia question...?

After how long of having gynecomastia is it safe to say it's not going away on it's own? Cuz I'm 14, but had it for nearly 6 years. I'm guessing my chances are slim to none, but I'd like some feedback. T.I.A.

Gynecomastia can be caused by being overweight..Which the solution would be to loose weight and exercise those pecs.
