Funny gynecomastia (puffy nipples)?

Hi I'm a 16 year old male and I have had puffy nipples (or gynecomastia, what ever you want to call it) for 2 years now. When I'm hot (not the feeling sexy hot) my nipples are really puffy, but when I'm cold they go back to the way they should be. Is this normal? Is it a sign that these stupid puffy nipples are going away?

Yes, it is normal.
And no, sorry to say, it's not a sign that it will go away.
The only way to decrease gynecomastia is by plastic surgery. Which, by the way, works very well and the results look very nice.
And, if you have insurance - this surgery should be covered by insurance. It's a medical condition, not an elective surgery.
Get the name of a good plastic surgeon that your insurance covers and go to them for a consultation. See at least 3 doctors - get several opinions.
Good luck

Gynecomastia is not "puffy nipples". Gynecomastia is breast development in males, usually caused by low testosterone, or imbalance of testosterone to estrogen levels. Many times overweight guys look like they have gynecomastia because of the fat, while some retain natural estriodals in their fat which causes the previously mentioned imbalance.

Sounds to me like you just have over large nipples that are expressive of your excitement (like women). Not a real problem, just a little different. This condition is on the increase in your generation due to over consumption of plant estrogens by pregnant and nursing mothers (soy is a big culprit, along with hormones used in dairy cows to produce more marketable milk).

Simple advice, build up your pecs, keep your weight in safe range. If you develop real gynecomastia that lingers, there is a surgical option. If it is just your nipples, you might learn to enjoy stimulation (wont be as sensetive as female, but still fun). Believe me, getting your nipples surgically reduced just for appearances sake can be regrettable.
