Can Gynecomastia be treated without surgery?

Is there anything I can do to get rid of the Gynecomastia without getting lipo or surgery done?

The tissue can be radiated, but the results are better for breast tenderness associated with gynecomastia (used for men on certain treatments that may cause breast tenderness and enlargement). Focused exercise and weight-loss are hit-or-miss - but worth trying.

Radiation therapy, like that used for cancers, can be used to destroy tissues in a focused area. Like I said, I am not sure about it's use in gynecomastia not associated with discomfort. It works well for men with painful gynecomastia due to certain medicatons and treatments. Sorry for the confusing answer.

I also looked at a couple of our other questions. I don't know the severity of your gynecomastia, but from those questions, it sounds like you should probably go the exercise route for best, least invasive, results. Start out with that, definitely talk to a doctor abut the situation and get his or her take.

man get the surgery i got it yesterday and it wasn't even bad i have had em 4 years and they were the size of golf balls is what the doc said but man u don't feel a thing BUT u do have 2 have these tubes hanging out 4 a week but thats it. 2 me it wasn't that much pain and it was worth it. Treating the underlying cause of the gynecomastia may lead to improvement in the conditon. Patients should stop taking medications which can cause gynecomastia. Anti-estrogen medications, such as tamoxifen and clomiphene or androgens can be used. Aromatase inhibitors are another treatment option, although they are not universally approved for the treatment of gynecomastia. Endocrinological attention may help during the first 2-3 years. After that window, however, the breast tissue tends to remain and harden, leaving surgery (either liposuction or reduction mammoplasty) the only treatment option. Radiation therapy is sometimes used to prevent gynecomastia in patients with prostate cancer prior to estrogen therapy. There are people who choose to live with the condition and use a bra as an option for treatment.
