A Condition called Gynecomastia? |
I've had to live with this torment now for about 3 years, the Gynecomastia is enlarged breast tissue in males. It has almost destroyed me mentally as I'm always conscious about the way I walk, what I put on. I can't take off my shirt anywhere, at the pool, or even at the Gym. I always have to give an excuse each day I'm changing and go to the bathroom to switch shirts. I'm always thinking.. Why me.. Why couldn't it happen to someone else. I'm even teased by my own brother who tells me "hows your boob doing"?. It's truly a very painful state in one's life, I've been embarassed everywhere even by kids. It says it's supposed to dissapear after 3 years but mine doesnt wanna let go, it just sits right there. I pray a lot to God about it, and I'm hoping one day he'll answer me. It has scarred me emotionally, mentally and physically. I can't even talk to girls when they're around and I usually just look elsewhere. Please, tell me how I can cope with this, or treat, besides surgery. Try and get some professional counseling, it will help you a great deal. |

Gynecomastia is normal during puberty and should resolve on its own. Other causes: 1.obesity (this doesn't seem to be the case) 2.marijuana (only you would know) 3.endocrine disorders (tests... Gynocomastia is caused by hormones so it could be that your puberty isn't totally complete yet causing the fluctuations in size. This issue usually goes away on its own once puberty has passe... You might be a woman with a pecker ...Only a doctor can diagnose gynomastisia in males, usually caused by a hormone imbalance or psychotropic medication. Go see a doctor. It could be something else, a health issue etc ...No I don't think so. He has developed his pecs through heavy lifting. You can search the topic and look at pics of people that do.
