Do i have Gynecomastia?

ok from the looks of the pictures do i have Gynecomastia, i have gone to my family doctor about this, and she said this is normal and they should be "going away" by when im 16-18 years old,that was two years ago, and to be honest i dont think i will enjoy my teen years in the summer.

Like last summer in 07 i didnt go to the beach at all, while my entire family went i deicied to stay at home, and i havent gone to the pool either.

The thing is i hate having this condition bc i can wear a Holllister shirt without my nipples popping out. I hate it, (btw my cousin gaveme that shirt, a month ago and i have yet to wear it in public). Everytime i see a kid my age at school with just one shirt on, i think to myself, why cant i have a chest like his, bc its normal.

Idk i really dont like this and there is no option for surgery bc my mom defianlty wont let me get surgery even though i havent asked her yet, i know she wont, trust me. help

had since i was 14, or i started noticing when i was 14, and im 16 now just turned on Dec 28th.

btw im not to skinny, i work out and im on the wreslting team, lol so dont say that, ty. im 5'6 140pounds

Sorry but yes, But there is some good news, when your are 17/18 It could go away, Because its your hormones. So fingers crossed they will.

The person in the pictures has gynaecomastia. Its not just excess fat or "moobs" as we call them in the UK. It does happen but you should be investigated with a testicular ultrasound and measurement of blood oestrogens and testosterone. Could you be ingesting oestrogens somehow? Men working in contraceptive pill factories and in factories making certain types of plastic can develop breasts.
If nothing else is found I don't think surgery is unreasonable when your 18 or so.

Unfortunately, yes you have Gynecomastia. You should wait before taking steps to address it though. As you mentioned, because of your age, this could just be temporary due to hormones.

Actions can be taken at a later time if the problem persists.
