I forget what Navy publication I saw this in, but I did see it some where and cant remember for the life of me. It stated only if the gynecomastia was causing the member pain would the Navy pay for it. Any ideas??? Thanks in advance!!! You'll have to undergo a physical examination. They'll most definitely pay for it if you tell them it affects you psychologically in your daily life (for example, you avoid wearing certain shirts and doing certain activities etc.) Contact your local Navy clinic. In Norfolk, go to the corner of Taussig Blvd and Hampton Blvd to the Sewells Point Clinic and see Dr. Hall. Tell him IT HURTS! Thus, it 'causes pain.'
The Navy won't PAY for it, but they won't charge you for it IF you're active duty. |
