Is Gum disease provoked by cleaning of the teeth?

I have been to the Dental Consultant who said that I do have gum disease, calculus in my back teeth. I said how is possible since my teeth were cleaned last year by the Hygienist.
I noticed that every time the Hygienist scrap my teeth after 2-3 days the teeth get covered with a white strong thing, could it be that the Hygienist cleans my teeth too hard that then my saliva has to produce calcium which deposits in my teeth for protection? if it is like this then cleaning teeth is a really good business because I will need a Hygienist more often and it is expensive. In the end the Hygienist is giving me calculus and gum disease and the only way to prevent further damage is by visiting him every 3-4 months, this is crazy! Tell me if I am wrong.

Gum disease is definately NOT provoked by cleanings. It is in fact part of a good regimen to prevent it.

Some people just produce more calculus.
The amount of calcium in the saliva, how dry the mouth is, if a person sleeps with their mouth open, smoking... these are only a few possible factors.
People who produce more calculus need more frequent cleanings.
Your gum health will definately improve over time and sometimes your need for more frequent cleanings will decline if you keep up with them for now.
Let's hope for that =)

Keep smiling

you are , the disease you got is increased by many things do you smoke , how often do you brush , etc

You don't mention your own brushing/flossing regimen. As long as you're brushing properly twice per day and flossing once per day, you should not have a problem with calculus build-up.
(and to answer your question, no- the hygienist did not cause the calculus buildup)

With brushing you have to floss. No you created the gum disease by having bad brushing and flossing habits. She is cleaning the teeth for you, your body produces the calcium and the bacteria. Now that you have it, my best advice to you is to keep brushing and flossing. Continue to see her, or find another dentist to go to for your cleanings.

This is one of the stupidest things I have ever read !!!! Go on line get educated !!!! Read about gum disease. You are the cause and family genetics are as well .
