OK PEOPLE WIT GUM DISEASE, WHEN U TRY USING LISTERINE...DID IT HELP? DID U TRY USING HYDROGEN PEROXIDE WITH LISTERINE? DID THAT HELP? LASTLY, WHEN U USED ONLY HYDROGEN PEROXIDE...DID THAT MAKE IT STOP? O AN I MEAN PUFFY GUM DISEASE, NOT GINGIVITIS, THANK U! Listerine did help but you still need to go and have teeth cleaned and go to a peridentist. they know how to get under the gum and clean well. Good Luck. 1) go see your dentist and/or hygienist for a cleaning. They can prescribe you a fluoride rinse that can help your gum disease. if you have been diagnosed with periodontal disease, NOT gingivitis, you will always have periodontal disease.. you can't regain the lost bone, tissue or reverse the damage. listerine or even crest pro-health rinse (which contains flouride) can help you maintain the gums, bone and teeth, by ridding some bacteria. you can use hydrogen peroxide, but use half water and half hydrogen peroxide... if you use full strength hydrogen peroxide, studies have indicated it could cause oral cancer (low chances, but it's still a possibility) |
