Have I Got Gum Disease? |
in between my two front teeth my gum is really swolen! and when i brush my teeth my gum bleeds why? you've either injured the area up there or you have a periodontal problem. Hopefully you go and have your teeth cleaned every 6 months(it is essential to keeping your teeth healthy) and if so, you should get some listerine and gently swish several times a day for 3 days--if the area is still sensitive or is worse- see your dentist. If you havent been to a dentist in a while, take this opportunity to make a cleaning and check up appt.- they will then look at all of your teeth including the area you have described. If your gums bleed when you brush, then your not brushing your gums enough, use a soft brush for the gums and always brush them as you would your teeth. I would see a dentist for the swollen gum in front. You may have injured that part of your gums. Try brushing gently and see if it still bleeds. I experience it many times before, too. If you are still troubled about it, then it's best to consult a dentist for professional advice. |
