Is this a sign of gum disease/gingivitus? |
I have a strange bump on my gums. Right under that strange bump, there is a loose tooth. I have a horrible feeling that the strange bump means that part of my gum is diseased, and that's why the tooth is rotten, and falling out. you have scurvy. take vitamin c you have an absess tooth and need to go to the dentist immediately. i had the same thing. it is not gum disease because if it was-your gums would bleed when you brush your teeth. you have a realy bad cavity and need the tooth pulled uhm i think u prolly have an abscess go to the dentist he'll fix it, i had one once my mouth felt soo much better!! You could have a cyst. You should see a dentist immediately. could be that, but it could be an abcess on just that tooth and not full-on gum disease. with gum disease, your gums bleed when you brush, they receded from where they were on your teeth (your teeth look like they're growing longer) and your gums change color, usually either a (sickly) red or gray. either way, it's time or you to break down and see the dentist yes, bumps are signs of gum disease, and that is caused by bad bacteria in the mouth that cause the gums to swell, become tender and may lead to tooth loss and falling teeth if left untreated. Teeth becomes rotten when you are attacked by gum disease. For prevention serious dental treatment is required plus practice of proper oral hygiene. To be able to prevent gum disease, you can refer to this link http://www.themouthdoctor.com This is definitely a symptom of gum disease such that it already affected the tissues that surround and support your teeth. The cause is bacteria, which can turn into tartar and plaque buildup, irritate your gums and lead to bleeding and receding gums. Consult your dentist earlier before it will lead to a more serious form of gum disease called periodontitis. This long-term infection can eventually cause loss of your teeth.
