I had Guillain-Barre syndrome less than a year ago. I am fully recovered. Can I now DONATE BLOOD??

Regrettably you cannot. The G-B syndrome takes at least two years to disappear from the blood, and is transmittable. It's admirable that you want to donate blood but maybe wait for another year. Is it true that in America you can get money for your blood because in Australia it's totally voluntary.

Yes, but it will be decided by centre where you go for donation.
Your gesture is appreciable.
Good luck!
