Could somone be poisoned by another person to cause them to get guillain barre syndrome?

there are documented cases of GBS like symptoms that were later ruled that they were actually poisonings. I am not going to disclose what the poison was on this forum. However, if you are just asking, the answer is yes, some poisonings can mimic some of the symptoms of GBS.
If you suspect you are being poisoned, then ask for a tox screen. There would also be liver and kidney symptoms which should red flag it. Which then leads them to alerting the police and the rest you can probably figure out yourself.
If you are thinking about poisoning someone, be aware that usually that sort of thing is figured out as there are other symptoms associated with poisonings that will usually alert physicians to the real problem.

Guillian Barre is a post infectious disorder that arises from a bacterial infection such as from campylobacter jejuni and mycoplasma pneumoniae. It is due to antibodies that were targeted against the bacteria starting to attack the nerve fibres, particularly the myelin sheath. So to "poison" someone, you have to infect that person and hope and pray that particular kind of antibodies are produced.
