Can grief/anger/fear be causes of memory loss in an 87-91 year old?

She has had an EEG and memory testing which showed alzheimers. Memory scores were 25 to >28 over 3 months.
This woman was managing a husband, house, garden golfx2 a week, socialising, shopping and doing 12 wages a week a age 86 then lost husband, house, expected future living with daughter, business contact, independence respect and eventually confidence and licence with 6 months.

We moved my Granny when she was 91, stupid idea. The stress killed her. Old people can be like kids at those ages as far as changes in schedules or living arrangements.
This kills or hastens deterioration in many seniors.
My advice is make her comfortable, surround her with favourite things, give her lot's of love.
Good luck.

Absolutely. It can at much younger ages as well.

yes, i read an article the other day saying the best way to slow alzheimers was to have a happy and full social life. sounds like she's lost that all and is in a downward spiral. i'll say a prayer for her. :/

YA IT CUD BE AS IT RESULTS INTO MENTAL STRAIN.

I don't even understand what your saying in the last sentence.

Grief causes memory loss in healthy people not diagnosed with Alzheimer's, it would make sense that grief would magnify her symptoms.

I don't know the answer to your question but I do know a way to slow Alzheimer's. If she already hasn't lost most of her memory and has trouble walking then tell her to play ping pong or something to exercise the brain. My grandma had Alzheimer's she it was growing at a tremendous pace until she started playing ping pong.

Yes. Sounds like she has given up......her once wonderful life is no more...it's depressing to her.
