How to deal with Death & Grief?

How to cope with Death & other bad things

If you believe in God, you can pray to Him .

"So, I say to you , ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives; and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

Come to Me, all who you labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angles nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. " -- From Bible ( Roma 8 : 38-39)

God Love You ..

I believe that each has it's own way. Some call it the journey, the stuff where they say Denial, anger, acceptance etc.

I personally think that you have to deal with it in an up front way, it is there, deal with it. If you stick your head in the sand you only cause the pain to linger.

Chose the tough route face it, the time to heal is much shorter.

And then again if this does not work there is always beer.

I am no professional, but a couple things that have helped me through the recent deaths of two close friends is number one: realizing that death is a part of life and we all must die one day. Number two, it is a lot less painful to remember the life and the good times shared, rather than dwelling on the death, and number three, we can honor our deceased loved ones by living our lives the way they would have wanted us to. For instance, start or finish a project that you know they would have cared about and live every day of your life with them as motivation. I hope this helps. May God bless you in your quest for healing.
