Does graves disease affect your sexual libido? |
I was diagnosed with graves disease last year and have noticed a complete drop in my libedo. Has this happened to anyone else? It isn't one of the usual effects of Graves disease although I guess some of the other effects it has such as tiredness, anxiety, insomnia etc could have the 'knock on' effect of reducing libido. I would see your doctor to discuss this as there may be another reason for the loss of libido. The link below offers some good information on your condition. Ask your doctor. I did see something online about changes in libido. But I did find this online link that is interesting...it talks about people who eat meat that is directly purchased from private farms (the thyroid gland of the animal can get thyroid hormone from the animal's thyroid gland into the meat sometimes, I have heard).
