Graves disease......?

how long does it take 2 start feeling human once diagnosed n medicated?

It took me 3 months from diagnosis to feeling normal again, but much of the progress occured in the first 6 weeks. I had to wait the entire 3 months to get my personality back. I was in remission at 6 months.

It is a long, lonely road. You see, the feelings you have been having no one else (except another Grave's person) can imagine. I hope you have folks to talk to about it. Even afterwards, you'll find that the period you were hyper stands out as a developmental benchmark, an important part of your life. Again, no one will get it except you and others like you. Find some folks to share with, OK?

is this overactive thyroid?

If so, then it took me about a year - but i did not take my medication faithfully every day for about the first six months - but once i started taking my medication properly things really improved.

It has been about 5 years for me and i still feel great!
