Can you have Graves' disease if you don't have an overactive thyroid?

I have all the symptoms of hyperthyroidism, but my blood test results say that I don't hyperthyroidism!? Does that mean I have Graves' disease?

Graves disease is only one type of hyperthyroidism. It is an autoimmune disease where the body produces antibodies that keep the thyroid gland producing thyroxin. If you have seen an endocrinologist and the results show that your thyroid function is normal, then you thyroid function is normal, and you do not have thyroid disease. But endocrinology is tricky and make sure your doctor knows what he/she is doing.

I think it is when you body attacts the thyroid?

Please compare your symptoms with that of hyperthyroidism and Graves' disease. You may consult an endocrinologist before/after taking ultrasongraphy of the thyroid gland.
Please see the webpage for more details on Graves' disease.
