I have Graves Disease. Should I take time off work?

I have most of the systems of Graves Disease,and I have been dianosed. The symptoms hace cost me my job.

I had to, since I was so far gone (90% capacity or something like that, most folks at 33-36%). The doc wanted me to take 6 weeks off from work (wrote a Dr.'s note too) but I got bored after 4 and went back. However, only you know your financial and personal situations, like if you CAN take the time off. I had wonderful parents who welcomed me back into their home for my recovery.

Talk to your doctor, do some number crunching, and see if you need to -- Grave's is very tiring, stressful, and you need to center yourself again. Good luck -- you are on the road to recovery!

If they cost you your job why are you asking if should take time off?

You should probably ask your doctor about the best course of action to take.
