My 11 yr old Sister Has Graves Disease?

graves disease is a thyroid disorder, the thyroid controls, many things in our system, for instance, our heart rate, metabolism, thought processes, a lot of automatic processes in our system, the things that we don't consciously do. she may have rapid heart rate, inability to sleep but feel worn out and tired all the time have racing thoughts, even think she is going a little crazy because of it. rapid weight loss { my sister lost 60 lbs in a month and a half}. her eyes will look bugged out, sorry but that is the only way i know to describe it. she needs to get professional help. usually there are medications that she can take that will regulate her thyroid, or the doctor will recommend surgery, i hope that helped a little.
