Graves disease swollen legs one of the effects for it?


My girlfriend has what is supposed be a bakers cyst in her leg her leg is swollen to about twice the normal size. It has presisted to get worse. The Doctor said that the ediema in her leg is caused by the Thyroid Disease she prescribed lasix. My question is, could the swelling in her leg really be caused by the Thyroid? The pain has become almost unbarable. the alsix and the pot. I don't think have helped at all

Did you say pot? Please don't tell me she is smoking weed when she has Graves??
