What is Graves Disease...and any ideas on why my fiance would look it up(I thought it was a disease woman had?

Graves disease is the most common form of hyperthyroidism according to the Mayo Clinic website. It affects both men and women, but is more common in women. A doctor can diagnose Graves disease and recommend appropriate treatment.

ANYONE can get graves disease.males,females-even dogs and cats can have it!its more common in women ,but men can get it.

Its a thyroid disease. Easily treatable if you go to the Dr. Go to WebMD.com and type it in..shows what it is and symptoms etc. Oh I would just ask your bf why he looked it up, maybe it runs in his fam?..Hope this helps.
