Gout: What are the best online forums for Gout information? |
Gout recommendations are complicated and sometimes contradictory, and the meds all have side effects. I am seeking the most authoritative and popular online forums and message boards, specifically devoted to gout treatemt and diet. I have found a lot of small message boards, infrequently used, but no good ones so far. I have been taking colchcine, which works (NSAID's don't) but I don't like the side effects. Every time I get off it, an attack occurs. Strangely, my uric acid has dropped down from 8.4 to 6.8 with diet and med changes, but attacks haven't stopped.
