Gout the excess uricacid in blood?

do i take lemon juice;amla; chicken seafoods; during the attack of gout. and which medicine should I TAKE to get releaf in pain ; and which medicine can decrease the level of urikacid in the blood.

Uric acid is a breakdown product of "Purines", nitrogenous bases that are found in DNA, and many other organic compounds. Gout results from an inability to eliminate uric acid through the kidneys which results in deposits of microscopic uric acid crystals. This is probably due to genetic factors, coupled with a diet high in purines. Uric acid is not toxic, but the uric acid crystals can severely irritate and inflame areas where they become concentrated, such as the joints.

In the case of an acute attack of gout, the best solution is to take anti-inflammatory drugs to reduce pain and swelling. A cold pack may also be very helpful.

In order to reduce uric acid levels, you should avoid foods that are rich in purines (see links below). Also, the drug "Allopurinol" inhibits the breakdown of purine into uric acid. The drug "Probenicid" increases the excretion of uric acid through the urine.

stay away from alcohol and dairy products, excess of these are the usual cause of gout.

I am sorry to hear about your health.(URIC ACID) Exes in the blood is due to bad eating habits, such as eating excess of red meat (protein) and hard Drinks such as whiskey etc. you have to keep the eating habits in control and exercise to over come the the uric acid problem.By drinking a lot of water also . wishing you fast recovery. And do take some good advice and avoid the above foods recommended and I promise you will become OK.in 2 to 3 months .Bye and God Bless you.
