Gout patient need your help?

Hi there,

Can someone suggest fruits and foods that gout patient should eat more to reduce their uric acid?

The following fruits can help prevent and even cure your gout - because of their particular vitamin, nutrient, and antioxidant properties. In fact, studies have demonstrated that a deficiency in vitamins such as A, B5, and E are serious factors that can lead to the formation and advancement of gout symptoms.

In this remedy, pay careful attention to the types of fruits and vegetables suggested. Then, don鈥檛 hesitate鈥攇et out there and start eating them right away. Many of these fruits and vegetables play an important role in neutralizing the uric acid in your blood. Your good health is just a handful of grapes, cherries, and blueberries away!

The list of winning fruits and vegetables includes:

鈥? cherries (and cherry juice)
鈥? celery (and celery juice)
鈥? strawberries
鈥? avocados
鈥? blueberries
鈥? grapes

For decades, cherries have been thought to help control and limit the symptoms of gout. In 1950, Dr. Ludwig Blau is said to have cured his gout by simply eating 6-8 cherries a day. More contemporary research has shown that cherries contain anthocyanins which have anti-inflammatory properties and work in much the same way as NSAIDs (mordern Gout Medicines). Additional research has shown cherries to quickly lower the uric acid level.

Researchers suggest a diet of 20 cherries a day is the equivalent of taking an NSAID. If you are experiencing a gout attack, experts suggest eating between 30 and 40 cherries every 4 hours will help quell the symptoms and pain.

Other Berrys that are good include
鈥? Strawberries
Because of their ability to efficiently neutralize uric acid, strawberries can create immediate relief from your symptoms. Suggested serving size: 1 cup during an attack

鈥? Blueberries
Similar to cherries, blueberries have high levels of anthocyanins which have anti-inflammatory properties. Suggested serving size: 陆 cup to 1 cup during attack

鈥? Grapes
Because they are high in alkalines, grapes actually lessen the acidity of uric acid. In addition, grapes can help the body rid itself of the uric acid as well. Suggested serving size: 1 cup during an attack

Note: While some fruits and vegetables can have a beneficial impact on your gout symptoms, others can have a drastically negative effect. Specifically, because they have a high acid content and can exacerbate your gout symptoms, you should avoid the following:

鈥? Cranberries
鈥? Oranges
鈥? Pineapples
鈥? Tomatoes
鈥? Many other fruits (and fruit juices) also have high acidity, so be sure to check before buying.

Lastly, I have a report about how Gout is co-related to sleep apnea and how it can be cured. Dont know how to load it here but if you want the file email me at dominic.teo@bacarra.biz with the subject Gout - Sleep Apnea

My understanding of this is that you need to stay away from too much protein like meats, eggs and things of that kind.

Also stay away from beer and alchol, green beans and spinach, meats like liver, heart, etc,. which are called sweetbreads.

Drink lots of water too.

Gout is a disorder of purine metabolism. Foods which are purine-high include beer, other alcoholic beverages, Anchovies, sardines in oil, fish roes, herring, Yeast, Organ meat (liver, kidneys, sweetbreads), Legumes (dried beans, peas), Meat extracts, consomme, gravies, Mushrooms, spinach, asparagus and cauliflower.

However once you got gout, you still get the attack even if you avoid eating all this things because gout is a metabolic purine metabolism disorder.

Hi,

I specialize in helping people bring balance back to their health through detox programmes.

From what I understand about gout, people with gouts are adviced to stay away from seafoods and meats because of their high protien level.

So, I would say it is good to take MORE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES because these things are alkaline and our body needs to be in a slightly alkaline condition to be healthy and balanced.

Also, if you want to reduce or remove your uric acid, you might want to consider doing a detox programme.

My fren had serious gout problem because he did a all-meat-and-only-meat only programme to lose weight. Well, in the first place, he was someone who only ate meat and did not like vegetables at all. He lost weight at the expense of increased blood pressure and chlorestrol level.

After he did a detox, he lost 20kg within a month (and looked 15 years younger) and managed to get rid of his gout problem, his blood pressure level and chlorestrol level as well.
